Getting Here
If you are flying, make commercial flight reservations to Smithers B.C. There are daily non-stop flights from Vancouver B.C. to Smithers and we will pick you up at the airport at no extra cost. If you are driving up we are about eleven hours from the US border and all the roads are paved and in good condition. It is an enjoyable scenic drive. We will send you a detailed map if you decide to book a hunt with us. Please see the additional travel tips below:
By Car: Travel west on Highway 16 from Prince George for approximately 400 km (275mi). Driving directions & map are available.
By Plane: The closest airport is in Smithers, BC. Air Canada partners operate flights from Vancouver and Prince George – see Air Canada’s website to see schedules and book flights.
By Train: VIA Rail operates “The Skeena” passenger train, running from Jasper to Prince Rupert, with stops in Prince George and Smithers, and many other communities along Highway 16. VIA is a nationwide network, so connections from large Canadian cities are possible. Visit the VIA Rail website for schedules and fares. VIA does not travel from Vancouver, BC. First, travel to Prince George on a BC Rail train, then travel to Smithers with VIA Rail. Rental cars are available in Smithers, as well as coach service.
By Coach: Greyhound Canada operates two coach buses a day along Highway 16. For schedules, check out Greyhound Canada’s site, or call their toll-free number at 1-800-661-TRIP.
Rental Cars: Car rental companies are located in Smithers. National Car Rental and Thrifty Car Rental operate out of Smithers. For more info on reservations:
