Enjoy a true fair chase hunting experience with Double Eagle Guides and Outfitters. Located in the heart of British Columbia, approximately 700 miles north of Vancouver. Babine Lake is center stage in a 5,000 square mile exclusive guiding area. The area has many lakes, mountains, timbered land, meadows and reforested land. Guide and Outfitter Stewart Berg was born and raised in the area and has guided in the same area for 31 years. Our guides and cooks strive to give everyone a successful, safe and memorable hunting experience. We offer affordable quality hunts that can be tailored to suite everyone’s physical ability. Our many cabin camps will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. On all our hunts we supply accommodations, transportation during the hunt and tasty home cooked meals.
We welcome people from around the world to experience and enjoy our moose, black bear, mountain goat, wolf and grizzly bear hunting. Our high success on all species can be done using rifle, archery or black powder. Central B.C. has abundant wildlife populations and our area can produces record book trophies.
Our Canadian moose trophies are 45 to 55 inches wide with a 95% success rate on 1/1 hunts and 80% on 2/1 hunting.
The black bear hunting is outstanding, every year we produce many large trophy animals. The area can pruduce up to an 8 ft. black bear and 10 ft. grizzly. Our grizzly hunting also has very high success.
The mountain goat hunting is achievable by any hunter in normal physical condition and the goats get record book size, 9 to 11 inch billies. The success rate on Mountain goat hunting is 95%. For the older hunters who would like to get a mountian goat, we now offer hunts with the use of horses.
